Oh, Summer…

We had such fun with you. We laughed, we played (we played a lot), we splashed in water tables and fountains, we lazed around in your warm weather… but now it seems you have gone away and left us with Fall (and it’s cooler, grayer, wetter Portland weather – ick). We really, really, wish you could have stayed longer.

P.S. When we went to the park the other day, I sort of knew by the forecast that this might be our last truly warm day to play, so we enjoyed the park for quite a while. It was a beautiful day!
