At one of the parks we frequent, we often don’t even head to the play structure or slides, but instead hang out under some of the huge trees that offer shade and endless exploration for the kids. Since rocks and sticks are the best toys, they are in love with this spot…. and rarely want to leave when its time to go.

Last time we went it was like they were playing “Who can find the best stick?!” Showing me and each other their finds over and over. If you can’t tell, there are a few sticks here, so the game can go on for a while!! 🙂

Joaquin seems sure he can come away with a victory. He doesn’t even look worried.
