After our blueberry and chocolate chip pancake breakfast (made by master chef, Jake), and the egg hunt, we let Elayna check out all of her gifts. Elayna really enjoyed (and continues to enjoy) her Easter things, sent from family far away, and brought over by some family nearby. Although I don’t have pictures of her playing with much of it yet, she is loving it all!

She has been carrying around a new stuffed duck, her lamb purse, and her humpty dumpty (alternately, for the most part); she and Joaquin enjoyed kicking around her new orange and green plastic balls all day; she likes both pairs of sunglasses she got; we all enjoyed dancing around the kitchen today to her new cds, she looks adorable in her new dress, she likes snuggling her new blanket, and tonight she got good use out of her new bath toys. Wow. This kid is really loved! What’s funny is that Jake and I really didn’t get her anything ourselves! Thanks everyone for making Elayna’s Easter wonderful. We have such loving family. 🙂
