We went to the beach yesterday (Cannon Beach, of course), in an attempt to catch some of the remaining nice weather the coast might see this summer. The sun never really came out as they promised, but it was still really nice and hardly windy. Elayna certainly had fun.

Last time we went to the beach we only really let her put her feet in the sand… and she didn’t seem to think it was anything fabulous, but this time was so much better. We let her really play in the sand (see video at bottom) and she loved it! She also loved the birds and the waves. I hope one day she will love the coast as much as her dad and I do!
