On our third day we got up and spent a little time wandering Give Kids the World before heading out to Cocoa Beach.
Elayna carried Mickey around with her and we visited the Castle of Miracles, the Ice Cream Palace, and even fed a creepy clown who asks for paper… constantly. Haha! Elayna thought he was funny and always wanted to give her napkin to him.
After that we headed out to see the ocean. Finally. It had been entirely too long since we had last seen the waves crashing on the shore and felt the smallness of ourselves. It was super windy (hence, some fancy hairdos in these photos), but we still got what we needed out of the day. I got time to recenter myself – with only my bare feet and the ocean in my view, Elayna and Daddy had time to walk down and tempt the waves… and then run away giggling, and Elayna got to write her name in the same and collect seashells. Oh, how she loved collecting the seashells. I think that was her favorite thing about Cocoa Beach. They were abundant and they were there for her to claim as she wished!
All in all, it was a good day. We finished it by spending a fun evening at GKTW, partying once again.
