Wow. It’s nearly Christmas!!

Tonight we had dinner with the Bradleys. My sister Patti, husband wade, and boys Jaden (4) and Colton (1) came over and the kids opened a few gifts. Elayna got the coolest mp3 player from them (its like a tiny, tough boom box that has simple buttons so E can control it), a couple Sesame Street books (always a hit) and a beautiful apron that Patti actually made her. I think I was as excited about her gifts as she was. Haha!!

We had lots of fun watching the kids open gifts and play. They are an amazing family and we are lucky to have them.

Elayna went to bed seeming excited about the idea of waking up and discovering what presents might be waiting for her. She doesn’t really understand about Santa, but she knows what presents are. It could be because she knows Papa, Gram, GG and Ted will be here tomorrow, too. She remembers and told Jake about it earlier. So cute. 😉 Before bed I read her a bunch of Christmas books and we sang Christmas songs. She came out and looked at the tree one last time before heading in to sleepy town.
