Today Elayna had a couple of firsts.

I took her to a “big” pool (only 9 inches deep) to play. She really liked it… and so did I! It was so relaxing and cool on a hot day. She mainly stared at the shimmering water, things underwater, and toys floating. She also spent some time splashing and socializing with other babies. Friends Annie w/ baby Joaquin, and Alex w/ baby Kate came to play too.

Later that evening, after Daddy came home, Elayna started saying “mama” right in front of both of us!! So exciting!!! She has said “mama” several times now, but not in context yet… and sometimes just when babbling. I’ll take it!! =)

Elayna likes moving her legs around under the water.
