Even though it was a hot, hot day, Aunt Laura, Stephanie and Keenan, Katelyn, and Lindsay met up with Ruth, Steve, Jackie, Jake, Elayna and I and we all walked the Reiman Gardens together. It is beautiful there, and they currently have the 2nd Largest Gnome IN THE WORLD. Haha!

Elayna loved having some time to hang with her cousin Keenan, who is 3.

When we were in the Butterfly Garden, this beautiful butterfly landed right on Elayna’s chest! It didn’t seem to want to leave, so after a minute we shooed it away. Elayna was quite interested in what it was doing there!! 🙂

Elayna had none of her shyness around Stephanie. She walked around holding her hand for a while, and even let her take her down the hall to get a drink of water.

P.S. Elayna used to call Jake “Dada” and me “Mama,” but over the last week or so, her vocabulary has improved and we realized today that she only says “Daddy” and “Mommy” now. She has also really gotten better at lots of other two syllable words… and her communication is so much clearer! I think all of the chatting that she did with all of you really helped! =)
