We hope this email finds you all doing well.

We have all been busy getting the hang of this new family thing, and I am happy to report that it is working out quite well so far. 😉 There were some rough days, but the amazing days far outnumber them, so I feel blessed. Life with Elayna couldn’t really be better. She has stolen our hearts for good!

We update it constantly. We like to keep the out of town/state family as caught up as possible on what she looks like and what she is doing, and this seems to be helping. Plus, it gives me a great excuse to snap away at the baby like I am paparazzi! =) If you want to be able to watch her grow, bookmark this site for future updates.

Elayna was 2 months old last Thursday.. and 9 weeks on Saturday. She is getting so big so fast! We had a check up today with the pediatrician and she confirmed what Jake and I suspected- she is perfect. Haha! She said it, not us! 😉
Elayna weighs 11 lbs 4 oz, which puts her just above the 50th percentile for weight (just where we want her right now) so that was good news. She is 23 1/4 inches long (75th percentile). She got her first round of immunizations and it went fine. She was a trooper!

Anyway, thats all for now. We miss and love all of you who can not be super close. Thank you for all your continued support.
